Yoga Classes in Austinmer and Unanderra, Wollongong, NSW

Johnny is a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher, currently holding a JI3 certificate, with over twenty years of full-time teaching experience. A key feature of the Iyengar Yoga tradition is that the teaching adapts to the needs of the individual. In Johnny’s classes you will develop strength, stamina, suppleness and agility in safety and in a manner appropriate to your current capabilities. As you progress you will notice not only physical and health benefits but also a developing calm, awareness and focus, that will improve mental well-being. Teenagers to seniors are catered for: you don’t need to be fit or flexible to begin, but now IS the right time to start.

PPClasses will mostly be on as usual over the Easter and Anzac day period so it is a good time to get yourself to class. There are some changes though:

Classes will be on as usual up until Thursday April 18 at both Austinmer and Unanderra. Classes from then on will be as follows:

Holiday YogaJohnny's classes will continue as usual at The Moore Street Yoga Room and Unanderra Community Centre until December 15. Between December 17 and 25 there will be no classes.

Holiday Yoga at Austinmer!

Johnny's HOLIDAY YOGA has been running every summer since 2003 and will begin again this year on Boxing Day and run EVERYDAY, including public holidays and weekends, until January 16 at the Moore Street Yoga Room in Austinmer. There will be classes at 9:30am and 7:30am.

This year's Spring Workshop will once again get you moving. We will look at the principles of mobility and stability, along with balance. We will work energetically, but in a staged and steady way that provides a framework for exploring transformation in our practice, physically and mentally.

The 5:45pm class on Monday at Unanderra will, however, not be on.
