Yes, there is magic in yoga … but it’s not about magical thinking.

To explore the subtle energies we firstly need to be able to appreciate and develop sensitivity to more tangible elements. It’s not about the shape we can make … but what we experience. Can we feel the way the muscles hold or lengthen; the way the skin moves; whether there is more effort here; more strain there? Does our awareness penetrate? On the physical plain we have a chance to check if our perceptions are real. As this study, this knowledge, takes us deeper we may be able to avoid the pitfalls of, magically, making it up.
